I’m spreading this because this is greatly unsettling to me. I live in europe and really can’t imagine how the future would look like.

If this article passes and gets reinforced by our social media and platforms they won’t separate us to “oh this is Europe they can’t do shit” and “oh it’s the rest of the world they can do whatever”… Making two different algorithms is a waste of resources.
I don’t live in Europe either, but chances are, we’ll have to live by their rules because the platforms will go by the stricter set of rules and force them on all of us. This isn’t a “Europe thing”.
