For those of you who don’t know Bangladesh, it is a small country right beside India and Myanmar.

This is a plea for help.
On 29th of July 2018, 7 school going students were killed by a reckless bus driver. The students protested with slogans on the same bus stand.
Since then All students of Bangladesh are protesting for safer roads and more strict regulations.
Their intention was never to harm even a single person. Neither it is now.
But today POLICE AND PEOPLE OF CHHATRO LEAGUE(a student council that’s controlled by the government) tortured students with tear shell, they beat students brutally and raped the female students (on 4th August 2018). The students are trying to defend themselves with sticks and tree branches that they’ve found on the streets.
Till now 4 students have been murdered and other 4 female students have been raped. 2 students lost their eye. And the Government is sitting there silent.
WE NEED YOUR HELP. PLEASE.
LET THE WORLD KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN BANGLADESH.

UPDATE:
No medical college/hospital is accepting students. They are suffering without proper medical attention. Only one medical was providing medical support, now they too have stopped. A doctor said (*this is not confirmed*) that at least 150 girls are still being held as hostages in the party office of the ruling party.

There are some people dressed as student going in the movement and spreading rumours/false news that nothing happened/everything is normal. Govt. is saying that any news of violence is rumour. A journalist (wishes to stay anonymous) said she herself helped AT LEAST 50 students last night(4th August) who were trapped in various places, and the kids are traumatized after watching their friends get murdered by BCL. BCL is attacking anyone in a school dress/carrying a school bag. Bus drivers are a strike because “they need safety” (ironic). Anyone saying “nothing happened” is lying.
UPDATE:
very few children were in road today (5th August), mostly because they are TRAUMATIZED after watching their classmates die/getting beaten. Many university students continued the movement in their respective university area. Till now, BCL attacked students in two different areas (Uttara and Raampura) but failed to do anything because of the unity of students. They chased BCL away. Cellular data service is still unavailable. Government has not said anything about violence, they are telling people that everything that happened yesterday are nothing but rumours. They have made some changes in the law and added 5 more points but truth be told,everybody knows its just a bait,just an attempt to silence people. Nas daily shared our news today. Please bring as much attention as you can.
I forgot to add something. Someone from the government said “we will have everything under control within Sunday” on 3rd August and that’s what they did. They used their force to beat people and to have everything under control. There are new of reporters getting beaten because they were trying to take photos.

Students of all public universities have decided to boycott classes, and most of the private varsities have cancelled their classes. Most of the actual news aren’t even reaching to us as the cellular data service is unavailable till now. This country is going through a dark period. God help us all,may all our brothers and sisters be safe.

today is july 11th, 2018. 23 years ago, a genocide was commited in Europe, the biggest one since the holocaust, in which the serbs raped and killed countless women and children, murdered over 8000 men ranging from a 2 day old baby to a 95 yr old man. they burried their limbs in separate and far away hidden mass graves, to make it harder for their families to identify and properly bury them.
its been 23 years, and on every july 11th since 1995., a couple hundred more victims get to have their burial. some families are lucky enough to find two limbs of their loved ones. most get to bury only a leg or an arm of their father, brother, uncle, grandpa. thousands are still waiting even for that.
its been 23 years, and the Serbs still deny commiting these horrid crimes, despite the 1 hour and 11 minutes of unedited footage their soldiers filmed in Srebrenica that is avalible even on youtube.
its been 23 years, and the world is still blind to the horrors that played out in the heart of Europe on the brink of 21st century.

Spread the word. Srebrenica and its horrors must not be ignored nor forgotten. God knows, the victims and their families deserve that much of us.
I’d like to add a few things to the post. If I’m wrong feel free to correct me.
They still haven’t found all mass graves and the latest one was found in 2015, 20 years after the massacre.
Also another thing the Bosnian Serbs and Serbians did against Bosnian Muslims during the war was mass rapings. During the war they would capture the daughters, sisters or wives of Bosnian Muslims. They would hold these women captured and rape them. It was a part of their ethnic cleansing.
12,000 and 50,000. That’s the number of women estimated to have been raped during the war. That was not even thirty years ago. After the the Balkan war, systematic rape and sexual enslavement in time of war became a crime against humanity, second only to the war crime of genocide.
That’s how bad it was, so bad that even men at the time agreed of it being a crime against humanity
Many people have concluded that these rapes were a part of a larger campaign of genocide and that the VRS (the Serbian military) were carrying out a policy of genocidal rape against the Bosnian Muslim ethnic group.
I also think that we should take time to question our self, because we’re always talking about the holocaust and saying how it should never be repeated; but it has. It was repeated in Srebrenica, in Burma, in Rwanda, in Cambodia and so on. It’s still happening.

Nah, they probably do have a sense of it; they just don’t fucking care, or they get off on the idea of putting a woman in distress weeks or more after the sexual act has ended.

They don’t do it only to us, women. My sister is a doctor and gay men have gone to her consults asking for exams and some have actually shared how their latest hookup removed the condomn without their knowledge and so they were scared to have an STD. Anyone that does this to anyone deserves no respect.
